Track Inspector
Trackmaster vehicles enable track inspection and the transport of equipment needed for emergency rail break repairs or installing missing fastening bolts. Based on a pickup or SUV, the trackmaster vehicle is operational on public roads, off-road terrain, and railway tracks. The 4×4 drive scheme ensures excellent passability on unpaved and gravel roads. In addition to the five-seater cab, there is a lockable cargo box at the rear of the vehicle for transporting materials and tools. The hi-rail gear is electrically operated directly from the driver's seat. The electro-hydraulic system allows for easy setup on rails and, if necessary, quick removal of the vehicle from the rails. Braking and traction are provided by the road wheels, with the load shared between the road and rail wheels. To ensure safety, 3 video cameras covering the front and rear assist with setting the vehicle on the rails. Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Chevrolet vehicles have been fitted with railway equipment since 2001. During this period, over 30 hi-rail cars have been handed over to our customers in Estonia and Finland.
