Rescue

With the vehicles produced for rescue, which are based on a pick-up, SUV or heavy truck type vehicle, can be used on public roads, off-road and on railway tracks. The 4×4 drive scheme ensures excellent passability on unpaved and gravel roads. In addition to the five-seater cab, there is a lockable cargo box at the rear of the vehicle for transporting rescue equipment and special tools. Trucks with railway gear with electro-hydraulic system allows for easy setup on rails and, if necessary, quick removal of the vehicle from the rails. Braking and traction are provided by the road wheels, with the load shared between the road and rail wheels. Dodge, Ford and Iveco vehicles have been fitted with different rescue equipment since 2005.

Railway Gear

When driving on rails, braking and traction are applied through the vehicle's road wheels, with the load distributed proportionally between the road and rail guide wheels. For safety, video cameras covering both front and rear views assist when setting the vehicle on the rails and while driving.

On unpaved roads the vehicle uses a 4×4 drive scheme for better passability. The vehicle operates on public roads, off-road and on railway tracks.

Equipment Box

At the rear of the vehicle there is a lockable cargo box for transporting rescue equipment and special tools. Dodge, Ford and Iveco vehicles have been fitted with rescue equipment since 2005.
