Rail Lubrication Truck
The Ford F-350 based vehicle is equipped with a lubrication device designed to apply wear-reducing grease to curves and turnouts. The grease is sprayed on the rolling and side surfaces of the rail head. Dosing is carried out from the driver's seat using the corresponding electric control panel. The grease is located in a sealed container installed on the vehicle, which can be used to lubricate tens of kilometres of tracks. The 4×4 drive scheme ensures excellent passability on unpaved and gravel roads. In addition to the four-seater cab, there is a lockable cargo box at the rear of the vehicle and multifunctional lockers for optional equipment on the sides. The hi-rail gear is electrically operated directly from the driver's seat. The electro-hydraulic system enables quick deployment onto the tracks and rapid removal when necessary. Braking and traction are provided by the road wheels, with the load shared between the road and rail wheels. To ensure safety, 3 video cameras covering the front and rear assist with setting the vehicle on the rails. Ford F-350 vehicles have been fitted with railway equipment since 2003. We have given our customers more than two units of Ford type lubrication trucks.
