Excavator

Excavators and rotating telehandlers modified for railway use enable the direct loading of turnout components, rails, gravel, and sleepers onto the tracks. The excavator-type machine is capable of replacing sleepers as well as moving ballast and soil. These machines are designed to operate on both public roads and railway tracks. These machines are equipped with a hydraulic lifting booms and rotating platforms, railway hi-rail gear and different special purpose tools. The hi-rail gear is electrically operated directly from the driver's seat. The electro-hydraulic system enables quick deployment onto the tracks and rapid removal when necessary. Braking and traction are provided by the road wheels, with the load shared between the road and rail wheels. Merlo-Roto, Komatsu, CAT and s.o. machines have been fitted with railway equipment since 2005.

Hydraulic Lifting Boom

Machines are equipped with hydraulic lifting booms and rotating platforms. Lifting capacity up to 3,000 kg. Various special purpose tool kits according to client needs.

Hi-Rail Gear

When driving on rails, braking and traction are applied through the vehicle's road wheels, with the load distributed proportionally between the road and rail guide wheels. For safety, video cameras covering both front and rear views assist when setting the vehicle on the rails and while driving.

Versatile Base Machines

Merlo-Roto, Komatsu, CAT and other machines have been fitted with railway equipment since 2005. Excavator-type machines change sleepers and move ballast and ground.
